Restore Austin
A church in Austin where anyone has a seat at the table and everyone can experience the love of Jesus. Every Sunday at 9:30am and 11:30am CT
We are a church that locks arms with the community to help bring restoration to people and neighborhoods in our city and around the world. We don’t have everything figured out, but we are on a journey of restoration through Jesus who loves people without prejudice or qualification. Restore is a place where you can be yourself, ask questions, and won’t be pressured to conform to any stereotype. No matter who you are or what you’ve done, you are welcome at Restore.
Hey Restore! We’re so excited to continue our Summer Mixtape series tomorrow with Anyra Cano, who will be sharing the story of the healing of Jairus’s daughter in Mark 5!
Anyra is the Director of Programs and Outreach at FaithWorks, a ministry that mobilizes Christians to practice compassion and pursue justice, and she is a fierce advocate for vulnerable communities 🙌
We hope you’ll join us at 9:30am / 11:30am at Lively Middle School, or live online at 9:30am! See you there!!

In order to allow positive transformation to happen around us, we must do what may feel unnatural to us - to love our enemies and serve others in pursuit of Jesus’ way.
We kicked off our Summer Mixtape series last Sunday with Rev. Dr. Dan Lowery, who shared how the Bible guides us to love our enemies while pursuing justice 🙌 While this can be extremely challenging, we can actively overcome injustice, heal broken relationships, and show everyone the love of Christ in our pursuit of peace 🤍
Join us for our annual Summer Mixtape series where we highlight diverse voices and diverse topics! Today, Dr. Dan Lowery will be preaching about how we balance the call to love our enemies and pursue justice for the marginalized.
We are here live-streaming every Sunday at 9:30am CT. If you’d like to connect with Restore, go to www.restoreaustin.org/connect.

The Kingdom of God is a kinship community built on mutuality and flourishing for ALL people. We are called as followers of Christ, and as a church, to be a people whose lives make the presence and peace of God feel real to one another and to the world around us.
So when someone walks through our doors carrying loneliness, pain, fear, or disappointment, they don’t just hear about the Kingdom of God, they get to experience what it actually feels like!
If we spend our time with people who angry, self-protective, and cruel, we will most likely become those things as well. But if we spend our time with people who are generous, compassionate, and humble, and grounded in the way of Jesus we will those things will take root in us too (and this is exactly why we’re so grateful for our Restore community!)🙏

When Paul says that he can do all things through Christ who strengthens him, he isn’t writing as someone who has avoided hardship because a divine genie granted all his wishes. He is writing as someone who has discovered that Christ can sustain him in the middle of tremendous pain and can empower him to press on no matter the circumstances.
Because his confidence is in Christ rather than his identity, accomplishments, or circumstances, he can keep going even through the hardest of times 🤍
