We are a church that locks arms with the community to help bring restoration to people and neighborhoods in our city and around the world. We don’t have everything figured out, but we are on a journey of restoration through Jesus who loves people without prejudice or qualification. Restore is a place where you can be yourself, ask questions, and won’t be pressured to conform to any stereotype. No matter who you are or what you’ve done, you are welcome at Restore.
We’re not expected to hold our relationship with God together by praying a certain way or doing enough. We’re meant to feel secure in our connection with Him, knowing that He already loves us and is already happy to listen to us, whether we’re sharing our sorrows or just conversing with Him like a friend.
When we leave room to let God lighten that burden, we can start to enjoy sharing life with Him freely.

One of the most common ways sin has been weaponized is through the phrase “God hates sin” because it’s used in a way that makes it seem like God hates us when we sin.
But that couldn’t be further from the truth. God doesn’t hate sin because God is some legalist holding every human to an impossible moral standard or because God flies off the handle in anger anytime we do something wrong. God hates sin because sin hurts us.
Authentic confession to God and each other promotes flourishing and fullness of life. When we are introspective, honest, and forthright, the healing can begin.

Jesus doesn’t demand that we do more, he asks that we depend more. We are called to stay connected to Jesus because we’re not expected to do it all alone.
God doesn’t help those who help themselves. God helps those who realize they can’t help themselves.
