I’m a week shy of officially being 365 days without a 9-to-5. 🥹⁣ and you know what’s cooler than all of it?⁣
⁣
Going from playing UNO with kids to standing at the University of Denver speaking at a Neurodivergent Leadership Summit …talking to young people with ADHD and other neurodivergent experiences about the very things we’ve been taught to see as flaws.⁣
⁣
I talked about being “scattered.” About wanting to do a million different things. About how maybe the magic is IN the scatteredness.⁣
⁣
We live in a world where you don’t have to choose just one thing anymore. You can be five different things. You can pursue five different dreams. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹.⁣

Then this student came up to me afterward and shared what hearing that meant to her and THAT is the part I’ll remember.⁣
⁣
Showing young people that success doesn’t have one look, one path, one personality, or one way of getting there. Sometimes showing up fully as yourself gives somebody else permission to do the same.

Yesterday, I walked into the screening and was handed a FILMMAKER badge. 🎬⁣
⁣
That alone — plus being surrounded by so much incredible talent — sparked something in me. It’s wild and beautiful that I get to wear so many hats in this lifetime.⁣

Oh, and you know… just casually hanging out with actor John Hawkes & Dash Donato’s cool ass.

Feels So Good To Be You was selected for its first-ever Music + Film festival, and seeing it on the big screen at AFS Cinema was special as hell.⁣

😤 The first Austin FC game back from the World Cup break and what a way to welcome us! 🥅 The energy was unmatched at the stadium last night and I got to pass out bobble heads of my boy Brad Stuver to a selected few attendees. Biggggg shoutout to & for always making me look (but most importantly feel) like the coolest person on the planet. My mom attended her first soccer game ever and the hospitality they always show me and my people I can’t even say out loud cause it would completely sound unfair to anyone reading it. Lol. Familia is a real thing at this club and I am proud to not just be an ambassador but to be a true family member of this community! ⚽️

made getting my hearing checked feel easy (and somehow made finding out I had a ruptured eardrum at some point in my life… not terrifying 😅) Then they created the impressions for my ears, and the team at Ultimate Ears Pro sat with me and went through every single model until I found the perfect custom in-ear monitors for the way I create and perform.⁣

As someone who’s in the studio producing, singing, rapping, and living on stage, having high quality monitoring is a non-negotiable at this point in my career! ⁣
