We handcraft lighting and metalwork in our shop for residential & commercial project across the US. All our work is made-to-order and easily customizable.
Two Hills Studio, Inc. was founded in 1987 by architect/owner Britt Medford AIA, IESNA in an effort to create decorative light fixtures for architects and designers that are easily customized to a project. Since then the product line has expanded to offer other complimentary metal work such as fireplace screens, cabinet door panels, vent hoods, mirror frames and elements of architectural decoration. Our work blends metals in various finishes with glass, acrylic, mica and mirrors. Over the years we have developed a number of handsome finishes for your selection. While our fixtures look great during the daytime, our trademark light and shadow patterns give a dramatic effect when illuminated. All of the items that we create are handcrafted in our Austin studio by our talented craftspeople. Our products are shipped world-wide and are specified for a wide variety of projects such as custom residences, multi-family developments, office buildings, retail stores, shopping centers, banks, restaurants, religious projects, retirement communities, movie theaters, hotels and casinos.

The sun has set on Two Hills Studio
Dear Friends of Two Hills Studio-
It is with deep sadness and regret that I have to tell y’all that Two Hills Studio has gone out of
business.
If you were not already aware, we stopped taking orders in early June, most of our employees
were let go mid-month, and the last 7/1. During that time and for the remainder of the
summer, with help, we were able to complete and deliver most of the projects in production.
We managed to return some, but, unfortunately, not all deposits and we’ve also left some
vendors unpaid and deeply regret this.
I still owe a significant balance on the loan I used to buy the business and have been working
with my bank on liquidating our assets. An online auction will start TOMORROW 10/17 and run
