Wrapped the 2026 Rancho Alegre Music Festival last weekend. I believe I've attended all 11 years and stage managed at least 7 or 8. This group is as much like family as you can be and I mean that in the best way, though we do like to throw in some very sarcastic humor just like my bio fam. Congrats to all involved and the hard work is always worth it!

After many months of planning, today is the 2026 State Engineering Competition, hosted by beautiful - good luck to all the young people competing !

For 6 months I've been working alongside Jen Spencer to curate a very intentional gathering of neighbors, friends, and businesses. I've helped book some amazing performers and worked with venues to create a progressive festival that will leave you loving Austin (if you don't already!)

Also thank you to my colleague Ruby Lopez Harper for having me as a guest lecturer recently for her class at George Mason University in the Arts Management Program. I wish UT had a program like that 20+ years ago when I was searching. I had a great conversation with students about Youth Programming.
