This Week at Rotary: This week we will meet at the Hillside Theater at Zilker Park for 'Singin' in the Rain.' Bring a low chair or blanket to sit on and any food or drinks you like (concessions are also available). Admission is free, and the show starts at sundown.

Recently, 3 of our members reached some important milestones in their Paul Harris' journey. Kudos to Charles Williams who obtained his first Paul Harris Fellow, Terry Foor who reached Paul Harris Fellow - Level 2, and Cyril Bernier who reached Paul Harris Fellow - Level 7! Our next Service Project is coming up fast. We will join forces with the Rotary Club of Austin University Area to pack 15,000 meals for Meals of Hope.

One month ago, some German Rotarians, part of the International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians, finished their tour of Texas in Austin and decided to pay us a visit. They brought some gifts with them: the Easter eggs they traditionally put on their Easter Egg Tree to welcome spring and symbolize new life. So greatful to have been able to exchange with them!

🍳💪 On Thursday, a community service, followed by a social activity, was "on the menu". Some of our Rotarians went to the Ronald McDonald House Central Texas and cooked 30 meals for families with sick children to help them feel at Home even when they can't be. Gathering at B.D. Riley's afterwards only tasted sweeter! 🍻🍔

Our Rotary Club is hosting an Open House on Thursday, May 7, at 6 p.m. at the Clay Pit Restaurant. This is a chance for guests to learn about Rotary International, and about our club specifically.

Club members will share more about their Rotary experiences in a casual atmosphere, and we’ll participate in a kit-building project benefiting the non-profit, Open Door Preschools.

Complimentary light bites and drinks will be provided.
