Over the last couple of years, I’ve fallen in love with mat-based massage and bodywork modalities - specifically Thai massage and Shiatsu. The effects last SO MUCH LONGER than your typical table massage, and I love the freedom of movement I gain from receiving mat-based sessions. I wouldn’t call myself a follower of tradition - I never do ONLY Swedish or ONLY Deep Tissue or ONLY Trigger Point therapies with my work on the table, so that definitely won’t happen on the floor either. Magical Mat-based Massage is my personal blend of tools, techniques, and modalities that create a deeply relaxing, effective, and energizing massage experience.
