We provide integrative programs for healthcare professionals as well as classes, internship clinics and private sessions for individuals, couples and families. We appreciate your interest in natural healthcare and the exciting role integrative techniques-- using energy, body, mind, emotions and breath-- are playing in helping people experience creative and healthful living.. Rima Star, owner and director, founded Star Institute in 2000. Star began her massage therapy career in 1974 and taught her first Swedish massage classes in 1977-78. She was one of the original ten people certified as a rebirthing breathing facilitator-trainer and has over 4000 hours studying body-centered healing arts including midwifery and birth facilitation. In 2004 she was given recognition as the Co-mother of Water Birth in the United States, having birthed her children using water in 1980, 84 and 87. She is the author of The Healing Power of Birth and Water Birth-Water Wisdom (soon available). Many of the curriculums of the institute are evolved from her 30,000 hours as a therapist and educator. Currently
Star Institute announces these program offerings in 2011 for healthcare professionals. They include:
* Ebb & Flow Integration Facilitator Training
* Birth Facilitator
* Perinatal Massage Specialist
