1. Paint does wonders. If the cabinets are tired or dark, paint them! The right neutral makes a room look updated and fresh.

2. Cheap-looking light fixtures undervalue the home. Consider swapping them out pre-staging.

3. Every home needs to be deep cleaned before staging. That means windows too!

4. I treat every home as unique. I don't copy and paste furniture. I select pieces that work with the home.

5. I no longer negotiate pricing. We are a team of specialists, and we deserve to be paid what we are worth.

Let me introduce myself.

I’m Kim Jones, founder of Clean Slate Home Staging.

I began flipping houses in 2015 while working as a
Registered Nurse and quickly discovered a knack for
staging. Years of noticing the little things that make
people feel comfortable and cared for still guide me
today—only now, the ‘patient’ is the house.

I turned my passion for homes and design into a
business that helps sellers maximize their home’s
value.
