🔥 BEYOND WHAT’S SEEN.

Yesterday at Shiloh Austin, Pastor Spencer brought a powerful and weighty message titled “Beyond What’s Seen.”

Teaching from 2 Corinthians 10:4–5 and Ephesians 6:10–12, Pastor reminded us that our battle is not against people. What we see in front of us is not always the whole story. Scripture teaches us that our struggle is against spiritual forces and that the weapons God has given us are not weapons of the flesh, but weapons with divine power.

“For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.”
- 2 Corinthians 10:4 ESV

Pastor Spencer reminded us that we are called to put on the full armor of God and stand ready for spiritual battle. The battle isn't just happening around us, it can happen in our thoughts.

We have to take thoughts captive that oppose the knowledge of God and refuse to allow the enemy to establish strongholds in our minds.

We don't go to war against people.
We go to war against the kingdom of darkness.
And we fight with the weapons God has given us. ⚔️🛡️

And then God moved. 🕊️

The presence of God was thick in the room, and an altar call was given for those who were believing for deliverance, freedom, healing, and a new beginning, including those struggling with addiction, mental and emotional battles, and those ready to surrender their lives to Jesus.

People responded.

The altar became a place of surrender, prayer, and ministry.

Yesterday wasn't about pretending that the battles don't exist.

It was a reminder that we don't have to face them alone.

There is power in Jesus.
There is freedom in surrender.
There is hope beyond what we can see. ❤️

If you're in a battle right now, don't give up. Put on the armor of God, take those thoughts captive, and stand firm in Christ.

Jesus is still saving. Jesus is still delivering. Jesus is still changing lives. 🙏

Tomorrow morning, let's pray beyond ourselves.
There's a world around us that needs prayer.
Our families need prayer.
Our friends need prayer.
Our communities need prayer.
Our church needs prayer.
And sometimes the greatest way we can love someone is to stand in the gap for them before God.

Tomorrow at 6AM, let's come together and intercede for the people and situations God has placed on our hearts.

You may never know what your prayer changes in someone's life.

⏰ BEYOND THE CLOCK.

Yesterday at Shiloh Austin, Pastor Spencer brought a heartfelt and challenging message titled “Beyond the Clock,” teaching from Ephesians 6:5-9.

The message reminded us that the way we work matters to God.

Whether we’re at our dream job, working behind the scenes, leading a team, or simply getting through another workday, we are called to work with excellence and integrity as unto the LORD, not simply for the approval of people.

Pastor also took time to explain the historical context of bondservants in the biblical world referenced by this passage. He made it clear that explaining the historical context is not an endorsement of the institution of slavery, but helps us understand what Paul was addressing when he wrote these words.

But the message went even deeper.

Pastor Spencer shared what was heavy on his heart: we cannot become complacent with sin.

We are called to fear the LORD, honor God, and take our relationship with Him seriously. Our faith should affect how we work, how we live, how we treat others, and the choices we make when no one else is watching.

Don’t just live by the clock.
Live with eternity in mind.

After the message, Pastor Spencer opened the altar for prayer, creating space for those who needed prayer, encouragement, and a moment to get right with God. 🕊️

Sometimes the Word challenges us because God loves us too much to leave us where we are.

LEGACY STARTS HERE. 🏡❤️

What a powerful Sunday at Shiloh Austin!

Pastor Spencer brought a timely message titled “Legacy Starts Here,” teaching from Ephesians 6 about the importance of family, honor, and the legacy we are building right now.

We were reminded that Scripture calls children to honor their parents, while also calling fathers not to provoke their children to anger, but to lead them in a way that reflects God's heart.

Because legacy isn't something we leave behind someday…

Legacy is being built TODAY.

It’s built in the way we love our families.
It’s built in the way we lead our children.
It’s built in the respect we show our parents.
It’s built through obedience, sacrifice, and honor.

And Pastor reminded us of something powerful:

There is blessing in honor. 🙏

What we model today can impact generations tomorrow.

So the question isn't just, “What am I leaving behind?”

It's “What am I building right now?”

Let's be intentional about building a legacy that points our families, and the generations after us, back to Jesus. ❤️
