Denver's Universal Recycling and Composting Ordinance is officially in effect — the result of the Waste No More ballot initiative that nearly 3 in 4 Denver voters approved back in 2022. It expands recycling and composting requirements to multi-family buildings, non-residential buildings, food businesses, permitted events, and construction and demolition projects.
