Applications are open for our annual Scholars Lab Fellowships for UT graduate students. The 6-month fellowship comes with a $3,000 stipend to support projects involving data, digital collections, digital media or digital methods/platforms. Up to five fellowships will be awarded. Apply by Sept. 13 at lib.utexas.edu/visit-us/library-spaces/scholars-lab/scholars-lab-fellows.

Join us Thursday for a conversation and poetry reading featuring award-winning Diné poet Jake Skeets, the Poet Laureate of the Navajo Nation. Anthropology Professor Anthony K. Webster will moderate a discussion of Skeets' work, and Skeets will share poems from his books "Eyes Bottle Dark with a Mouthful of Flowers" and "Horses." Refreshments, coffee and tea will be served.
