The words you put after “I am” carry weight.

Imposter syndrome loves turning where you are into who you are. But feeling unqualified doesn’t get to define you. Be careful what you confess over yourself when God has already called you His.

You can’t fight a thought you haven’t caught.

This is Michael’s story.

For 17 years, chasing excitement led Michael down the wrong path. When his mom was diagnosed with dementia, he got mad at God. Eventually, that journey brought him to Alcoholics Anonymous, which led him to believing that Jesus really did die on the cross for us.

Michael chose to make his faith public through baptism.

“I want to remove the last layer of shame. This is going to signify a fresh start for me, really stepping into a new identity from alcoholic drug dealer to the child of God.”
