Medicare 101 featuring the Area Agency on Aging of the Capital Area
Medicare 101 provides a clear and easy-to-understand overview of Medicare for individuals who are new to the program or looking to better understand their coverage options. Participants will learn about Parts A, B, C, and D; enrollment timelines; costs; coverage differences; and available resources through the Area Agency on Aging and the Aging & Disability Resource Center. This session is ideal for older adults, caregivers, and professionals who support Medicare beneficiaries.

Tiny Tales to You: Adult "Hoppy" Hour
Tuesday, September 1st, 6pm - 7:30pm
Terrazas Branch - 1105 E Cesar Chavez Street

Relax and unwind with cute, cuddly animals. Everyone will have the opportunity to pet bunnies, hedgehogs, bearded dragons, blue-tongued skinks, chinchillas, tortoises, guinea pigs, miniature chickens and baby chicks. This event is for those 18 and up only.
This is also a first come, first serve event. Request a ticket at the front desk for entry.

Sure books are adapted for the screen, but it works the other way too. Join author Jess Hagemann .author for a free writing workshop on to novelize a movie, how to acquire a movie’s book rights, and where to start the process of turning a movie into a book. Includes step-by-step instructions and an in-class writing exercise. Adults 18+ only. Registration not required.

Whether you’re planning for yourself, a family member, or simply exploring what’s available, you’ll leave with useful information, practical resources, and new connections.
