Texas Cures

Texas Cures Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded for the purpose of advancing knowledge of the life-saving work that doctors and researchers perform every day on behalf of patients and their families. New advancements hold even greater potential to benefit society and continue to provide hope for promising cures. Cure based research inspires the community and Texans must understand, embrace and support the research efforts across Texas to realize the benefits of this important work. Scientific advancements in stem cell science can lead to treatments and therapies for incurable diseases and medical conditions for which doctors currently have few, poor or no effective options. In many very different ways, stem cell research provides the keys to developing cures as well as safer and effective treatments. By illuminating responsible research activities in our state and around the world, we clarify misconceptions and shift the conversations away from "controversy." Every day we remind and educate our community about the importance of this breathtaking research and that it is conducted for the purpose of helping people. Pretty simple concept…but very complex science that needs to be better understood if we are going to make the vision of better treatments and cures a reality for our families in the near future. The most promising new era of medicine is upon us thanks to many dedicated doctors, scientists, engineers, and clinical research teams across our great state and beyond. Texas Cures is uniting the community to support their efforts and creating new visibility for advances in the fields that are changing the way we approach disease and injury for millions of people around the world today.
