In 1997, Todd turned a crumbling old fruit stand on S. 1st street into an Austin landmark that the New York Times has since listed as a must see. A bit to surreal to see this in actual newsprint. Thank you to the Austin American-Statesman for chronicling my upcoming move. As many of you know, I’m packing up my South Austin studio at the end of 2026 and moving it to a new location in Round Top TX. Our home remains in Austin and my heart will always be here.

A neon dive into a Texas tradition.
This piece captures the spirit of summer at Deep Eddy- a glowing tribute to one of Texas’ most beloved landmarks. We’ve made a couple of these lately so thinking we need to plan a trip to the pool…

Watching your kid turn an idea into reality is pretty incredible.
Our son came up with the idea for a t-shirt line featuring the coordinates of iconic destinations, and we couldn’t be more proud of his creativity, initiative, and drive to learn how business really works. From choosing the locations to picking the colors and designs, he’s been hands-on every step of the way.
And honestly… the shirts turned out really cool.

The last time Todd saw it was circa 1982 at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds. This time there were a few more fans in the audience. Thank you for the opportunity to hear King George again!
