Like many, Kris Kristofferson’s passing affected us, we had just started playing a few of his songs for our h***y tonk set, and Buckley and I whipped up this cover that we were very proud of but didn’t really have a home. When and reached out looking for covers and songs for a compilation of Austin artists to help benefit those affected in NC by the hurricanes we knew this would be a perfect place for it. Happy to say it’s out today among many other wonderful tunes. Please support (link in the bio) and enjoy

CHANGE OF PLANS FRIDAY‼️ The rain came and washed our house show w/ away but now incredibly excited to be playing one of our favorite new/old bars come hangout be spooky it’s the first night of Halloween 🎃 music is at 10:30. Wear costumes!

New Cult Old Cure is out in the world. We are all really proud of this record- to everyone who worked on it and just on this project in general; past members, live band etc. Thank you so much for being a part of this thing. Full album credits in the next slide. I just want to say it feels really incredible to release these songs we have been cultivating for years at our live shows. We hope you enjoy your listen. I know there’s a lot of yearning in this record but I also really think there’s a lot of hopefulness and most of all the desire to be a better person. I think that’s as close as I can get to pointing out a moral to the whole thing. Thank you, and if you want to come celebrate get on down to Goth Country Night. 🦇

Dec 3 last full band show of 2022! In preparation for our final gig of the year Buckley and I took a pilgrimage seeking Mad Dog Margaritas and to take communion with the favorite Chilli of Guy Clark. We are playing Dec 3 with it’s gonna be a good ol fashioned gothic western experience. Come hangout! After this show half of the set is getting retired to make way for new things. Enjoy your Turkey.
