JUST ANNOUNCED 🎻 Laboratorio returns to the State on Sunday, September 20th with Bolero Inmortal featuring Bill Frisell y Orquesta!

Led and curated by Carrie Rodriguez, Laboratorio is a concert series celebrating Latine culture through music, storytelling, and visual art. Inspired by the 1958 Mexican musical drama Bolero Inmortal, the evening will blend imaginative interpretations of classic Mexican boleros with clips from the film and performances from an all-star ensemble of jazz and Latin music musicians.

The shows are all are all-acoustic events in my east Austin studio. The evenings are BYOB with extremely limited seating. We sing, tell stories, improvise all over each others songs. You know, make true music. The whole thing is designed to improve your attitude.
