True independence cannot exist until all people have the autonomy, safety, and rights they deserve. Today isn’t just about reflection—it’s a crucial reminder that we must continue to show up for one another, and that our solidarity remains with those fighting for real freedom.
True freedom belongs to everyone, or it belongs to no one.
