Iceland is unpredictable. Waterfalls, glaciers, black sand, weather that flips in an hour. Our guide read all of it and reshaped the days around the conditions so the group got the best of every moment.

The part we’re most fired up about: Julia has severe allergies (all nuts, all seafood) and still ate well every single day. The farm answered her questions about breakfast and dinner before she even had to ask.

Five stars is always the goal. Four stars keep us humble.

Ben came to Greece with us for his first trip with a tour company and had a great time with our Trip Leader Artemis. But he told us something we needed to hear: traveling with dietary restrictions made group meals stressful for him.

So here’s what we want everyone to know. If you have dietary restrictions and tell us ahead of time, you can always order your own food. You should never have to fight for it or feel weird about it at the table. It wasn’t as easy for Ben as it should have been, and that’s on us to fix.

We aim for five stars on every trip, and the only way we get there is people giving us feedback. Thanks for the honesty, Ben, and for trusting us with your first group travel experience.

Sometimes you have to hike to the top of a glacier just to taste some of the freshest water you can find 😂
