***Ripplefest appreciation post***

As we venture back to DC today from Austin, we are filled with gratitude and joy. From the moment we arrived at the sagebrush for RippleFest Texas it was like being home, welcomed immediately by old friends and fellow travelers who make this annual pilgrimage to be a part of a special community, experience seeing so many finely curated bands, and remind each other what’s important.

So Thursday ruled, and we already posted about that. But we also got to spend some time on the road with our old friends ZED and join forces with the likes of KAL-EL, , Demons My Friends, GRAN MORENO and more along the way. This community is what makes the work worthwhile, and traveling to bring our music to new places keeps the three of us going and connected.

We did a little sightseeing where we could as we drove many miles through Texas, and closed out our weekend as fans back at the Sagebrush to enjoy one last fix of heavy grooves and hangs. So great to see the Howling Giant homies, crushed, and the almighty GREENLEAF who capped off the weekend perfectly, not to mention the great people we met and spent time with.

Huge thanks go out to Ryan and the whole Lick Of My Spoon Productions crew for having us and treating us so well, to Todd from Ripple Music, and to everyone we hung out with, jammed with, who bought some merch or just brought some energy while we played. We love you all!

Logging them miles in Texas! Ripper of a show last night in Arlington at growl_records_tx with KAL-EL, ZED Dirty Sound Magnet and Goiter Belt. Enjoying only the finest of tacos and burritos and getting ready to rip San Antonio tonight at The Mix with Zed, las.cruces.doom and Demons My Friends. Let’s fu***ng go!

RippleFest Texas we love you! Huge thanks go out to Ryan Lick Of My Spoon Productions, Todd Ripple Music, the staff at Sagebrush, all the badass bands who melted faces, but most importantly everybody from the RFTX family who came out to kick the shenanigans off properly. Y’all are the best! Tonight we’re at growl_records_tx in Arlington for another stacked show with kickass bands from far and near. See y’all soon!

Tomorrow’s show in Arlington got a lot heavier! Welcoming KAL-EL Dirty Sound Magnet and GRAN MORENO to the festivities. Stacked from top to bottom, come on out and party with us all night!

We’re Texas bound and ready to bring some DC riffage to the RippleFest Texas stage on Thursday with our Ripple Music brethren to kick off the fest. Will you be there? We’ll also be rocking a couple area shows with our old homies ZED in Arlington and San Antonio. See you soon, Texas!
