Misc. Rentals is hiring a Customer Operations Manager!

Behind every tent, table, and string of café lights is a quote that got answered fast, an order that got loaded right, and a customer who got a call back. That’s the work. We need someone who can lead the team that does it, then make the whole system run better than they found it.

We’re a proudly woman & LGBTQ+-owned, Austin-rooted small business, and we’re looking for a hands-on leader to bring structure, accountability, and follow-through to our office team.

You’d own the office team and the full order journey, keep quotes moving toward bookings, lead our CRM rollout, and sit on the Leadership Team helping decide where we go next. It’s a real seat at the table, not a title.

A few specifics: full-time W-2 from day one, with a 60-day introductory period and a review at the end of it. Benefits kick in after 60 days. Fully on-site here in Austin, so local applicants only.

Our hiring process: phone interview → Zoom with the hiring manager → in-person with the Leadership Team → reference checks → offer. We aim to wrap it all up in a month or less and will keep you updated either way.

A few more details: the first 90 days are a 1099 contract. After a successful review, the role moves to full-time W-2 with benefits (including health insurance, with the company paying the base). This is a fully on-site position, so you must live in the Austin area. Experience with TapGoods, Attio, Slack, Google Workspace, ADP, or Strety is a plus.
