Our dad Steven described himself as an environmentalist, an outdoorsman, and a loving dad. He put down roots in Hudson Bend in the early 1980’s, then built the ranch from a piece of nearly-vacant land in 1999. He enjoyed the quiet open space, the wildlife, and the starry night skies the ranch provided, saying he wanted to leave the world a little better place.

If you met Steven you know that he was larger than life and he left some massive shoes to fill. A year and a half now since losing him, we are really proud of everything we have accomplished around the ranch, and only wish we could share our stories of success and lessons learned with the one person who would care the most to hear about them.
