🎨✨ Bluebonnet Studios hosted its annual celebration of artistic talent yesterday. We held our Art & Wellness Show! Residents from all of our supportive communities for single adults shared their artwork or put on a performance. It was a wonderful opportunity to show their neighbors what they've been working on throughout the year. From painting and illustration to fabric arts and wood carving, we're always delighted to see such a wide range of talented artists.

We are deeply grateful to every artist, performer, and partner who made this year’s show such a joyful and memorable celebration, as well as our Supportive Housing team that put the show together. 💛

🎉We are continuing our celebration of with numbers that represent not just food on the table, but money saved to pay for living expenses. So far this year, Foundation Communities' Healthy Food Pantries in Austin have served more than 200,000 pounds of food, to almost 8,000 families through 210 distributions all over the city - all at no cost to our neighbors! 🥬You can find a Healthy Food Pantry near you at www.fchealth.info. A HUGE thank you to all of the incredible volunteers who came out for our recent Community Supper Club! These events are all about building community, one plate at a time 🍽️ Volunteers provide a high-quality meal for our residents, but they don't stop there! Supper Clubs are a time to sit down and get to know you're neighbors. We’re so grateful to everyone who showed up and helped create such a welcoming experience 🙌

❤ We greatly appreciate the generosity of Covenant Presbyterian Church - Austin, Texas. The church has donated $75,000 to help Foundation Communities replenish our Rent Assistance fund. This fund helps residents in our affordable communities when they are struggling to pay rent due to an unforeseen financial hardship.

📺 As this story from KVUE shows, this donation is part of the church's "Unburdened Initiative" to help local families overcome the worry of unpaid debts.
