Stage Director, Choreographer, Designer, Producer, THEATRE MAKER
"Take your broken heart, make it into ART. " ARTISTIC VISION: “Reinvent!
Do not Reinterpret!” As a director, I seek to celebrate theatre and its importance in our culture as a powerful storytelling device of who we were, are, and will become. In doing so, we find a whole new generation of theatergoers and allow them exposure to the landscape of the modern performing arts. Theatre, Opera, Ballet, at its very base is storytelling and is the director’s chief responsibility to sift through the incidents of a plot to find the story. What defines a director is the format in which he brings that story to the audience. My style is simultaneously classic and contemporary, distinctively bold and inventive, artist driven, energetic in spirit, and often highly theatrical in ex*****on. Epic stage pictures, fierce staging, naked emotion, an integration of movement/dance and song to forward the storytelling and enhance the world of the performance, and an open acknowledgement of the theatre and its audience are all staples of many of my productions. It is this often ambitious and always imaginative story telling style that allows audiences to experience the magic and power of theatre.

🌙✨ AND JUST LIKE THAT… THE MAGIC IS GONE. ✨🌙
After weeks of rehearsals, countless costume changes, late nights, laughter, chaos, karaoke, Shakespeare, and more than a little fairy dust… our A Midsummer Night’s Dream has come to an end. What a wild, weird, wonderful dream it has been. 💫
To our incredible cast: thank you for throwing yourselves wholeheartedly into this strange and magical world. To our technicians, stage management, producer, and everyone who worked behind the scenes—you made the impossible possible every single night.
And to YOU, our audiences: thank you for laughing with us, singing with us, falling in love with us, and taking this wonderfully unconventional Midsummer journey with us. Your energy filled the room and made every performance feel like something truly special.
We set out to answer one question:
What would Shakespeare sing at karaoke? 🎤
And somehow, we created something that was so much more than an answer.
Tonight, the lights go down one final time. The forest falls silent. The fairies disappear. The lovers find their way home. And the dream becomes a memory.
But what a dream it was. 🌙
Until the next adventure…
The course of true love never did run smooth. ❤️

Review: A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM at City Theatre A contemporary soundtrack, Shakespearean verse, and a playful approach give City Theatre’s adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream a distinctive identity. The fairies sparkle, the mechanicals steal the laughs, and the production proves that revisiting the classics can still lead to something une...
