Oh, and that sweet little Blue Heron Audubon painting on the last slide...The clients gave it to each other for Christmas, and it became the inspo for the kitchen design.

Y’all, can we talk about what opening up this staircase did to the whole room?!

The old stairs took up a LOT of visual space, and now you’ve got these gorgeous wood treads, cable railing, and so much more light moving through the room.

And this is exactly why we love a good before and after... because sometimes you don’t realize how much one part of your home is changing the way the whole space feels until you see them side by side. 😉
