No toothache? That’s exactly how we like it! Regular dental visits aren’t only for when something hurts. They give us a chance to keep an eye on your child’s growing teeth, gums, bite, and overall oral health while looking for small concerns before they have a chance to become bigger ones. Keeping healthy smiles healthy is a big part of what we do!

Tomorrow is the first day of fall! We’re saying goodbye to summer and getting ready to welcome a brand new season. What are you looking forward to most this fall?

Ever hear us counting during your child’s dental visit? We’re doing more than practicing our numbers! Counting helps us keep track of which teeth have come in, which baby teeth are still hanging around, and how your child’s smile is developing. It’s one of the simple ways we follow all the changes happening as they grow!

Happy International Chocolate Day! Chocolate and healthy smiles can still be friends! If your little chocolate lover is choosing a treat, dark chocolate is often a more smile-friendly choice because it typically contains less sugar than milk chocolate. Enjoy a little sweetness, drink some water afterward, and keep those smiles shining with regular brushing!

Pumpkin season is almost here, but pumpkins aren’t just for decorating! Pumpkin seeds contain nutrients like magnesium and phosphorus that support healthy teeth and bones. They’re also a crunchy, low-sugar snack that can be a great addition to your child’s fall snack rotation. So when you’re enjoying all things pumpkin this season, don’t forget about the seeds!

Happy Labor Day from our team! Today we celebrate the hardworking people who make our communities such wonderful places to live, work, and grow. We hope you have a relaxing holiday surrounded by family, friends, and lots of smiles!

We had such a wonderful afternoon enjoying lunch at Mandola’s, followed by a sweet ice cream treat! A big thank you to Austin Oral Surgery for inviting us and treating our team to such a fun time together. We truly appreciate your kindness and generosity!

Do your child’s gums sometimes bleed when they brush or floss? This can happen when plaque builds up along the gumline or when flossing hasn’t been part of their regular routine. Gentle brushing and consistent flossing can help keep their gums clean and healthy. If the bleeding continues or you notice swelling or tenderness, give us a call!

Today, I’m feeling especially grateful as I celebrate another birthday! My morning started with breakfast and birthday songs from my husband and kids, calls and sweet wishes from my family and close friends, and so much love from my amazing team. Getting to start the day seeing my little patients made it even more special! I’m thankful to God for another year of life, for my health, and for all of the wonderful people who surround me with so much love. I truly could not ask for more. I’m looking forward to another year of learning, growing, and appreciating every moment!
