Doc List Photography

Being a husband, and the father of four, family is important to me. Not only do I love my own wife and children, but I find families and children to be food for my spirit. I've been creating photographic images and memories since my teenage years. My brother and I had our first darkroom in the closet, hallway, and bathroom of the apartment we shared with our mother in New York City. The greatest joy I found was printing an image and showing it to our mother and having her say "that's wonderful!"

I've never lost the joy of discovery and of sharing my view of people and the world. I've realized that you don't necessarily see what I see, and I want to share my vision with you through the images I capture and create. I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the Texas Professional Photographers Assocation, the Austin Professional Photographers Association, Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) and the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP).
