Imagine actually paying doctors to safely wean people off of psychiatric drugs!?!?!?! There is growing recognition of the difficulties of withdrawing from psychiatric drugs.
For years, nobody would call it withdrawal. Instead they called it “discontinuation syndrome.”
Finally people are starting to call it what it is.

One of the largest for-profit psychiatric hospitals in Texas (and the US) is set to lose federal insurance coverage.
This hospital has been on our Director's radar for years.
Texas Public Radio found reports including deaths, assaults, riots, drugs and staff injuries.
Texas needs faster and more forceful investigations of dangerous and abusive psychiatric hospitals!

The first restraint death I ever investigated was at Laurel Ridge. It wasn’t the last. It doesn’t seem like things have gotten any better over the years.

New Parental Rights Training Approved for School Trustees The syllabus for a new parental rights training received final adoption during last week's State Board of Education meeting.
So proud of the parents and parent groups who worked so hard in 2025 to pass Texas’ strong parental rights in education bills. Even more proud of those who have continued to Shepard these changes through implementation.

In the Netherlands, for example, only two psychiatric patients were killed legally in 2010. By 2011, this had increased to 13 patients, and by 2012 to 14. By 2020, there were 88 euthanasia cases involving mental illness. That figure rose to 138 in 2023 and to 219 by 2024
