A culinary work of art with a purpose.
From August 17–23, Uchi Austin is supporting Project Transitions with a special dish created in honor of our mission: the Fujisan Crudo — rainbow trout, nectarine, peaches, and amaranth.
A portion of sales from this limited-time dish will benefit Project Transitions and our work providing supportive transitional housing and services to people living with HIV in Central Texas.
This is what community partnership can look like: creativity, beauty, and an unforgettable meal coming together to make an impact.

Joy is part of the journey! And what better waynto bring joy then a Drag Brunch to remind us just how powerful joy can be.
Our residents were treated to an unforgettable celebration filled with incredible performances by Nadine Hughes, Sierra Mykels, and Gizzelle Cliché Andrews. All DJed by Ed West 🔮. So much laughter, music, connection, and some truly extraordinary talent.
The energy was out 👏of 👏this 👏world 🙌. Morale was renewed. They brought a fresh energy to the people we serve.
To every performer who shared their gifts, talent, time, and heart with us: thank you. You gave our residents more than an amazing show. You created a moment of celebration, belonging, and pure joy.
At Project Transitions, our work is about helping people living with HIV move forward from homelessness and housing insecurity through supportive transitional housing and services. But building a better life isn't only about preparing for tomorrow.
It's also about experiencing the joy of being alive.
Everyone deserves moments with food food that make them laugh, celebrate, connect, and feel part of something bigger in their community.
This was one of those moments — and we won't soon forget it.
