Making gold standard TonePacks for the Axe-FX III, FM9, FM3 and legacy Fractal Audio units since 2017
Member of Fractal Audio's beta testing team since 2010, AustinBuddy creates "TonePack" commercial preset packs for use allover the world by recording studios, touring professionals and bands, as well as hobbyist electric guitarists and bassists, to help them get the most out of their Fractal Audio System's FM3, FM9, Axe-Fx III, Axe-Fx II, XL/XL+, or AX8. As Fractal Audio's Christmas Gift of Tone series, which featured him as #9 in the series said "We often encounter his (AustinBuddy's) work in the rigs of pro players using our products." HIs "plug and play" TonePacks for live or studio use are available at www.austinbuddy.com. AustinBuddy also produced "Buddy's Boutique" and "Austin Buddy's Vintage Cabs" Cab Packs sold by Fractal Audio on their website. He helped design factory presets for the VP4, Axe-Fx III, FX8, and offers for sale various "TonePacks" covering the amps modeled in the FM3, FM9, Axe-Fx III, as well as the legacy units for the Axe-Fx Mark II, XL/XL+ and AX8. AustinBuddy is a Louisiana-bred guitarist based in Austin, Texas and pursued great vintage and modern tones for decades. He works full-time from his home studio "Electric Buddyland" and is a regular contributor on the Fractal Forum and a total "Fractal-Evangelist."

An update: I am pretty busy these days dialing in sounds by working on some new LiveGold packs made just for the AM4… stay tuned, coming soon!
Hopefully we can get a minor mid-year update for LiveGold for the III/FM9/FM3 soon too, just waiting for the firmwares for all 3 units to align so updated presets can be ported over between the units.
Bonus: cool picture of Jimi Hendrix when he toured/played my hometown of Baton Rouge (no I was not there, just a little kid at the time!)
