As we celebrate Independence Day, we wish you a safe, happy and memorable holiday with your community.

The House Energy and Commerce Committee has advanced 16 bills to the full House, including the Motor Vehicle Modernization Act of 2026. The measure moved forward by a 48-1 vote as part of a larger markup and continues the conversation around vehicle safety and modernization issues affecting the automotive space.

Right to repair remains a key conversation for the automotive aftermarket.

According to Reuters, President Trump recently met with auto industry leaders to discuss the ongoing right-to-repair debate, which continues to raise important questions around vehicle repair access, data and the future of independent service providers.
