A little reminder for you today: I’m praying for you. 🤍

Whatever you’re carrying, whatever you’re waiting on, whatever you’re walking through, bring it to God. You don’t have to have the right words. He already knows your heart.

Send this to someone you’re praying for today.

This quote from The Way of the Ox is a reminder I come back to often: faith grows when we resist the urge to retreat in fear and choose to keep moving forward.

You don’t have to see the entire path. You just have to trust God enough to take the next step. 🤍

If you haven’t read The Way of the Ox yet, you can purchase your copy through the link in my bio. And if you’ve already read it, I’d love for you to leave a review so I can hear your feedback.

You don’t have to have the whole plan to take the next step.

God isn’t asking you to see the entire road ahead. He’s asking you to trust Him with the step that’s right in front of you.

Keep moving. Keep trusting. He’ll meet you there. 🙏

I had the honor of joining Randy Robison on LIFE Today to talk about my new book, The Way of the Ox. đź“–

We discussed what the musk ox can teach us about facing life’s storms, how God meets us in the middle of them, and how He uses adversity to strengthen our faith and build endurance within us. 🙏

The longer I lead, the more convinced I become that the best leadership does not come from fragmentation.

It comes from integration.

We do not lead only with our vision, intellect, skill set, or personality. We lead from the whole of who we are.

Our leadership is shaped by our values, habits, emotional patterns, physical energy, relationships, sense of purpose, and the way we interpret the world around us.

✨ Part Four of The Spirit, Soul, and Body of a Leader is here.

Integrated Whole brings the series together with one central invitation:

Become whole as you lead.

Do not only ask what you are building. Ask who you are becoming.

Do not only ask how fast you can move. Ask whether your pace can be sustained.

Do not only ask whether you are successful. Ask whether you are aligned.

Most leaders eventually learn how to push through.

We push through full calendars, hard decisions, team needs, family responsibilities, pressure, travel, deadlines, and seasons of transition.

There is strength in that.

But there is also danger when pushing through becomes our only strategy.

đź’Ş Part Three of The Spirit, Soul, and Body of a Leader is here.

Steadfast Below focuses on the body of a leader: sleep, pace, energy, stress, movement, recovery, and the physical foundation required for sustainable leadership.

The body is not an interruption to leadership.

It is one of the places where leadership is carried.

The leaders who last are not always the ones who run the fastest in every season. Often, they are the ones who learn how to remain steady.

The hardest part of leadership is not always the work itself.

Sometimes it is what the work awakens within us.

Pressure reveals patterns. Responsibility exposes assumptions. Conflict uncovers fears. Success tests motives. Failure tests identity.

That is why the soul of a leader matters.

🧠 Part Two of The Spirit, Soul, and Body of a Leader is here.

Renewed Within explores the inner life of leadership: our thoughts, emotions, decisions, desires, assumptions, and the stories we tell ourselves under pressure.

Because the soul of a leader always leads before the strategy does.

When the soul is neglected, leadership becomes reactive and exhausting. When the soul is renewed, leadership becomes steadier, clearer, and more humane.

What does it look like to pursue biblical manhood in today’s world?

I recently had the privilege of joining The Pursuit of Manliness podcast to talk about The Way of the Ox, resilience, leadership, and why God often develops our strength through seasons of challenge rather than comfort.

It was a meaningful conversation about enduring with faith, embracing God’s purpose, and learning to run toward the storms instead of away from them. I hope it encourages you wherever you are on your own journey.

🎙️ The episode is out now! You can listen at the link in my bio.

A special thank you to Jarrett Samuels, host of The Pursuit of Manliness podcast, for the invitation and for such an engaging conversation. I truly enjoyed our time together and am grateful for the opportunity to share the message behind The Way of the Ox.
