An artful immersion in lifestyle and well-being. Now open.
Located in Downtown Austin’s vibrant Second Street District, Austin Proper Hotel and Residences brings together Kelly Wearstler’s layered interiors, elevated wellness, and the culinary vision of MML Hospitality. The property features 234 guest rooms and suites alongside 99 private residences, creating a stay that feels both deeply personal and connected to the city’s creative energy. Dining spans four distinct destinations, from rooftop restaurant La Piscina, known for Mexican-inspired fare, small-batch tequilas, and sweeping Lady Bird Lake views, to Kappo Kappo, the hotel’s intimate omakase experience rooted in traditional Japanese kappo dining. Guests can also enjoy a full-service spa, fitness center, and rooftop pool deck, all designed to move seamlessly with the rhythm of modern Austin living.
