💡 Ollie is a young, healthy dog with no medical barriers to rescue, foster, or adoption.
⸻

🧠 Behavior Summary

Ollie is a young, energetic, social shepherd mix who displays typical adolescent behaviors that are amplified by the shelter environment.

Observed notes include:
• Very wiggly body, fast wagging tail, soft facial expression
• Friendly and social with people and other dogs
• Excitable and jumpy when seeking attention
• Walks on a tight leash due to forward pulling; food motivation is present but impulse control is still developing
• Vocal in kennel at times, especially when other dogs are barking or during busy hours
• Does not want handlers to leave and shows attachment-seeking behavior

🚨 Ollie’s behaviors are not aggression-related — they reflect youth, excitement, lack of structure, and shelter stress. With training, exercise, and consistency, he has strong potential to be an excellent companion.
⸻

🏡 What Ollie Needs
• Rescue, foster, or adopter urgently needed
• Structured environment with routine and clear boundaries
• Continued leash training and basic obedience
• Daily exercise and mental enrichment
• A patient home that understands young, active dogs
• Breed-experienced or active home recommended
⸻

💔 PLEA FOR OLLIE

Ollie is only 1 year old — still a puppy at heart — full of energy, curiosity, and affection. The shelter has become overwhelming for him, and without an outlet for his drive and enthusiasm, his behaviors are being misunderstood.

Ollie doesn’t need to die for being young, excited, and untrained. He needs guidance, exercise, and someone willing to help him grow into the dog he’s meant to be.

Behind the jumping and pulling is a happy, social dog who wants connection and companionship. One foster, one adopter, or one rescue can change his entire future.

⏰ Ollie will be euthanized on 1/6/2026 if no one steps forward.

Now that we are not begging for donations, this group sure does deserve them. We tagged team Rescue with them, but they do all the legwork and pay all the expenses. Please help in anyway you can. Their donation information is in the post. Thank you and share. If you cannot donate it would be very helpful.

‼️🆘
🆘‼️San Antonio Tx!!
This poor girl was dumped after having 2 babies because the owner couldn't be bothered to get her spayed and then let her roam to get pregnant. Then when she has 2 babies they dump her to be euthanized with her 2 one day old babies!! Ugh!! I hope she makes it out but its passed her time by 2 days!! So chances are not good!!
PLEASE HELP ANYWAY YOU CAN!! 📞
