SIGNY
Two heroines. Two legends. One Voice. One girl called SIGNY was born beneath the world’s most cavernous sea. She favored Jasper, plastic teeth, and tangled wires.

It’s hard to find the right words. Not sure if we’ll ever find them. Dick believed in SIGNY before anyone else did. He was our ride-or-die roadie. Forever carrying our gear, doing lighting, taking badass photos of us, and wearing our t-shirts. Although, he had probably ran out of clean clothes and it was the only thing he had left. He made sure we were always taken care of.
He got us on bills with artists we would have been overlooked as an opener for. He was our biggest champion. We saw firsthand how he struggled but he never lost the ability to breathe life into someone that needed it.
The Austin music scene died a little bit this week. We’re not sure it will ever really be the same. We’re not sure we will either.
Thank you for everything, Dick. The many good times, the many bad times. Even the fights before a long ass drive to Galveston. We didn’t deserve you but we’re forever grateful for you.
Hope you found some peace,
Love, SIGNY
