With more than 12 years of riding experience, Madissen brings a genuine, lifelong love of horses to our community. Her favorite discipline is Western riding - especially reining and she is happiest outdoors with horses by her side.

When she isn’t helping care for our horses and keeping things running smoothly around the barn, Madissen works in life insurance and enjoys life as the proud dog mom of two pups.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have someone so kind, hardworking and genuinely horse-crazy on the Firefly team. If you see Madissen around the barn, please introduce yourself and help us make her feel right at home!

✨ Meet Paige ✨

We’re excited to officially welcome to the Firefly team this summer!

Paige has been involved with horses for more than 20 years and brings a unique combination of equestrian experience, intelligence, and compassion to our team. She recently earned her graduate degree in Neuroscience in Canada and is continuing her work in neuroscience research, bringing the same thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to the barn that has helped her succeed academically.

As the owner of Zeus and one of the first boarders to join Firefly after we opened our doors, Paige has been part of our journey from the beginning. Throughout that time, she has consistently demonstrated a genuine love for horses and an unwavering commitment to their care and well-being.

What stands out most about Paige is the way she cares for every horse she encounters. Whether she’s helping with daily barn operations or spending time with the horses in our program, she treats each one as if it were her own - with patience, attentiveness, and genuine kindness.

When she’s not at the barn or in the lab, you’ll likely find her hiking with her dogs, scuba diving with her family, or exploring Austin with friends.

We’re incredibly fortunate to have Paige on the team and know she’ll care for every horse entrusted to Firefly with the same love, dedication, and attention she gives her own. 🐴

🦋 Meet the Team: Jessenya 🦋

We’re excited to officially introduce Jessenya, Firefly Equestrian’s Barn Manager! 🐴

Originally from South Jersey, Jessenya moved to Texas after getting married and quickly developed a passion for animal care and agriculture. Her experience includes working with horses, goats, Jersey cattle, and Highland cattle, and she’s currently pursuing a Biology degree at Austin Community College with plans to continue on to veterinary school.

At Firefly, Jessenya helps ensure our horses receive the attentive, consistent care they deserve every day. From feeding and stall care to monitoring horse health and supporting daily barn operations, she plays an important role in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

When she’s not at the barn, you’ll find her tending to her garden 🌿, enjoying softball and baseball ⚾️, and cheering on her beloved Philadelphia Phillies.

We’re grateful to have Jessenya as part of Team Firefly and can’t wait for our clients, riders, and horses to get to know her better. 🩶

Happy Mother’s Day to the incredible moms of Firefly Equestrian! 💐🐴

There’s something really special about horse moms. You somehow juggle careers, carpools, school pickups, muddy boots, horse hair, busy schedules, surprise rainstorms, and somehow still make it to the barn with snacks in hand and a smile on your face. ✨

What’s even more beautiful is watching so many of you choose this journey not only for your children, but for yourselves too. Some of you are raising brave little riders while others are rediscovering your own confidence, passion, and joy in the saddle after years of putting everyone else first.

Horses have a way of teaching all of us something important: resilience, patience, courage, connection, and how to keep showing up even when things feel hard. And the truth is, our riders learn so much of that from watching YOU.

Thank you for showing your children what commitment looks like. Thank you for showing up through the chaos of everyday life. Thank you for trusting us with your horses, your riders, and your hearts.

We truly have the most amazing barn moms, and Firefly Equestrian is better because of every single one of you. ✨💕

✨ Meet ✨

Some people walk into your barn and just raise the standard. Jadora is one of those people.

From Kyle, Texas, Jadora has been riding on and off since she was little, but what stands out most is her heart. She genuinely loves feeding and caring for the horses here at Firefly, and it shows in everything she does.

She is the kind of person who quietly keeps everything running. Always stepping in. Always helping. Always putting the horses first.

And here is what makes her story even more special.

We hired Jadora knowing her next chapter was already calling.

On May 26, she ships out to Camp Pendleton to join the United States Marine Corps as a General Engineer 🇺🇸

And in true Jadora fashion, she is doing life in a big way. She turns 21 on May 10 and celebrates one year of marriage the very same day.

She is building something meaningful now, gaining experience with a dream of owning her own barn or ranch one day. We have no doubt she will make that happen.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had this season with her. She has made a lasting mark on our horses, our team, and our community.
