Infinite Recovery is an Austin, Texas-based addiction rehabilitation center that combines holistic, therapeutic techniques with a “no excuses” attitude for an empowering approach to treatment that honors the dignity, worth and uniqueness of clients and their families. Named for the idea that there are infinite approaches to treatment, Infinite Recovery recognizes that each person has their own unique challenges and abilities and strives to help clients develop individualized goals and celebrate success in all areas of life. The facility provides a inpatient program and intensive outpatient treatment, as well as high-accountability sober-living residences and a community center where people in recovery and the surrounding community can safely enjoy sober fellowship.
Trauma treatment is more than talking about what happened to you.
David Ysla, Trauma Program Manager at Infinite Recovery, breaks down how our trauma-focused programming goes beyond the traditional 12-Step approach - ncorporating modalities like DBT, CBT, ART, EMDR, creative expression, recreation therapy and clinical psychoeducation.
The work starts with understanding trauma responses, PTSD and anxiety -and progresses into deeper conversations around shame, guilt, grief and moving from victim to survivor.

Good people, great conversations, and a chance to spend time with so many of the people who make this recovery community what it is.
Grateful for another year together — and everyone who came out to join us. 💙

He knew it had fentanyl in it. He knew it wasn’t going to fix him. He did it anyway.
Then he woke up 45 minutes later with the needle still in his arm.
But it wasn’t the possibility of dying that scared him most. It was realizing he was still alive - but no longer truly living.
Eddie Shackelford, Senior Client Services Specialist at Infinite Recovery, shares what that moment looked like for him and what life looks like now, five+ years later.
Today, the relationship he has with his daughter is something he says he “couldn’t even put into words.”
Recovery doesn’t just save lives. It gives people the chance to come back to them. 💙

Jenna Ward, Director of Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) at Infinite Recovery, shares the remarkable story of a client who came into care with so much working against him.
When Tarvis first found him, nearly everything he owned fit inside a worn backpack.
Tarvis still has that backpack today - a reminder of where this client started and just how far he’s come.
Because no one is too far gone. No one deserves to be forgotten.

They’re in hospitals, treatment centers, therapists’ offices, and communities building relationships, navigating resources, advocating for patients, and helping families figure out what comes next.
Because when someone is ready for help, knowing where to turn - and having the right person answer - can make all the difference.
