Variant Talent

After several years in Casting and Extras Coordinating for major film, television, commercial and
print projects, Agent/Owner Jessica Hovind, saw an opportunity to contribute to
changing the way talent is represented in the Austin market. With careful consideration, and difficult decision to leave casting, she signed an impressive group of people with unique talents, looks and skill sets, and formed the boutique talent agency: Variant Talent

Variant features what the industry considers "Real People": Musicians, MC’s, Theatre and Film/Television actors, Commercial, Print and Voice Over talent. Variant operates by the guidelines of a full service talent agency, while doing things just a little differently; varying slightly from the current standard, and introducing a new brand of Texas talent and representation.
