This weekend 100 early childhood care providers in the lower Rio Grande Valley were trained in Growing Up WILD. Many thanks to Ranger Veronica and summer intern Ed from Estero Llano Grande State Park for taking the lead on these workshop sessions.
Educators learned how to play turkey games, touched earthworms, and planned how to incorporate nature into their programs.
Can't get outside on this ? Check out the Postcards from Texas segment on Texas Parks and Wildlife's YouTube channel to do a virtual 'Water Safari'.
