🤩After learning how to show up each day ready to learn, lead, and be their best, PreK, Kinder, & 1st ended their Friday with an EPIC dance party… because leaders know how to have fun too!

🧪🔬 Science is better when you have to figure it out together! 🔬🧪
Today Mrs. Moore’s 3rd grade students took on a challenge: build a cup tower without using their hands! 😮🏗️
Each team received just 3 cups, a rubber band, and strings for each teammate—and that was it! No step-by-step directions. No demonstration. Just a challenge and the freedom to problem solve, communicate, collaborate, and learn from each other. 💡🙌
Watching them work together was the BEST part! They had to listen, adjust, encourage one another, and figure out what worked (and what definitely didn’t! 😂).
This is what hands-on learning looks like! ❤️
Less telling. More thinking. More teamwork. More learning.

“After High School I spent 3 years in the US Navy from 1984-1987 & graduated from Eastfield Community College (Mesquite, TX) in 1991. I started with the U.S. Postal Service as a custodian in 1989, advanced through several positions, retiring as a Project Manager in Facilities in 2022. Soon after, transitioned to subbing in Azle ISD, and spent last year as an aide in Crossroads at Azle Elementary. I'm married to a beautiful wife, we have 4 great kids and 3 really special grandkids. We enjoy going to their games and having them over. I enjoy photography, working out and studying God's word. I really enjoy watching the students mature and grow throughout the school year. Being a small part of this growth is rewarding.”

“I am so excited to be joining Liberty this year! Although this will be my first year working in a school setting, I have several years of experience caring for children. I’m excited to support students as they learn and grow throughout the school year! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, going on random adventures, and making memories wherever we end up. I can’t wait to be a part of the Liberty family!”
