Azle ISD Convocation 2026! Welcome back teachers and staff!! It's gonna be an amazing year!!!

Ms. Williams may be a familiar face to our Forte Junior High Family! She's moving from the academic classroom to the art classroom!

Ms. Williams brings 16 years of experience, teaching previously at Grand Prairie, Bridgeport, Aledo, and Azle ISDs. She's a graduate of UTA and is currently working on her Masters at Angelo State University.

"I am beyond excited to cultivate a love of art and creativity into our students! Outside of work and college, I enjoy dogs, plants, decorating, reading, and anything water related. I am married and a dog mom!"

Please help us welcome Taylor Migliorini, Art Instructor at Azle High School!

A recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma where she studied Studio Art and Art History, Ms. Migliorini begins her career in Azle ISD this year!

"I'm super excited to begin my career in Azle and encourage students in their love of art! Outside of work, I love going to the movies, walking around the lake, and trying new restaurants."

Welcome to Azle ISD, Ms. Pruchka!

Ms. Pruchka will be teaching music at Hilltop Elementary. She comes to us from Oklahoma, after having attended East Central University and teaching nine years in public and private schools in the Oklahoma City area!

She is excited to start her 10th year teaching, and her first year as a Texan! She loves helping students discover the joy of music through movement, fun, and creativity! Outside of school, she's a theme park enthusiast and loves planning trips to Universal Orlando and Disney.

Meet Stephanie Northam, our new Forte Junior High Assistant Band Director!

Ms Northam comes to us having over 18 years of band directing and 10 years teaching privately. She has taught in Arlington ISD, Mbale Christian School (in Uganda!), Bethesda Christian School, and Northwest ISD.

She is excited to join the Azle Band family and make great music with the Forte students. Outside of school, she loves to hike and travel, especially to see her adult children!

Please welcome Chandler Freehill to Azle ISD! Ms. Freehill directs the Dazzlers Drill Team and teaches junior high dance at Forte and Azle JH.

A graduate of Tarleton State University, where she was a member of the Texan Star Dance Team, Freehill comes to Azle ISD after eight years in Forney, Burleson, and White Settlement ISDs.

Ms. Freehill adds, "I'm excited to become an active part of the Azle community, build meaningful relationships, and foster a legacy that brings pride and spirit to AHS."

Welcome to Azle ISD Fine Arts, Patrick Riley! Mr. Riley will be assisting both the Azle Junior High and the Forte Junior High Bands this year!

A graduate of West Texas A&M University, Mr. Riley has been band directing for five years! When he's not in the classroom, he loves reading, concert-going, and kayaking.

Mr. Riley has been traveling the country with Colts Drum and Bugle Corps this summer!

Please welcome our new Azle Junior High Head Choir Director, Ms. Heidi Bargsley! A graduate of Texas Woman's University, Ms. Bargsley is a familiar face in Azle ISD! She has spent 20 years in education as an elementary music teacher and private lesson instructor. From 2020-2025 Bargsley was the music teacher at Hoover Elementary!

Bargley adds, "I've aspired to be a choir director since I was 10 years old and I feel very blessed that I get to share my passion for choral music and singing with the students of Azle Junior High!"

Please welcome Sarah Shipley to our Azle Fine Arts Family! Ms. Shipley will be teaching art at Azle Junior High! A graduate of UNT, Shipley comes to us after five years in Keller ISD.

She's a mom to 4 boys and 3 big dogs! She's a multi tasker and an "artistic dresser!" She pushes students to experiment boldly, think bigger, and surprise themselves with their art.
