Many thanks to the aptly named Smiley Pediatric Therapy for sharing this kid's great experience with the Obi Robot, which one of their OT's borrowed straight from our AT loan library! It's always awesome to get glimpses into the really cool moments that arise when folks have the opportunity to try out assistive tech.

Our loan library is full of tons of equipment that can address needs across the spectrum of disability, and it's all free for Marylanders to take home and try out. Get in touch if you'd like to check out what we have!

Shout out to the wonderful Dan!

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT - Meet Dan Doggett, our IT Accessibility Specialist!

As part of our Statewide IT Accessibility Initiative, Dan’s job is all about making sure Maryland’s digital world is open to everyone. He works closely with other state agencies to help them build websites, documents, and online tools that are easy for people of all abilities to use.

When he’s not helping the Plain Language Workgroup make content easy to understand or actively engaged in the IT Accessibility Corp Internship program with the Governor's Department of Service and Civic Innovation, you can find Dan training local agencies and universities on digital accessibility.

Thanks to Dan's deep expertise, Maryland is making huge strides in digital access. We are so lucky to have him on our team—thank you, Dan, for everything you do to make our state more inclusive!
