This kicked me in my damn back. Anybody who knows Weems, knows my deep love for this brother. Brown Sugar is literally one of my favorite albums EVER! I play it from front to back while driving at least 2-3 times a week (on the low end). I was playing it just this morning after dropping my sons off at school & heading to a dentist appt, not knowing the bulls**t ass news I’d be walking back out too. I’ve been on a digital hiatus, but this was too major not to send some love & light his way as he travels on.

What an IMMENSE loss for music, for culture & for the entire world. If anybody needs me, I’ll be kicking over metal trash cans & potted plants for the remainder of the week. Damnit !!!
