I just solved my own problem today and thought I would share it. I needed to extend the life of the water tubes for a very hydrangea heavy wedding install. I have added Boba straws to the water tubes so that the water supply is increased. The straws fit perfectly. I cut it down to stay hidden but you can make the length longer or shorter. Unfortunately the caps don’t fit on the tops of the straws but that could be solved with an o-ring if you need to use these on thinner stems. The hydrangea stems are thick enough to stay put on their own. Do you have a variation of this trick? Let me know!
