I like figuring out and understanding how to do things within my field of work, so the concept of not being able to do it isn't apart of my vocabulary. It's more of, I haven't figured out how to do it yet or the best way to execute it as yet.

It's all a learning experience. Growth can't occur if you're not Wilmington to learn to practice.

Get. It. In. Writing.

Cover yourself. Some clients are easy going and some aren't. Some present as easy going, but shiftd to a difficult client. No matter which one they are, cover yourself with documenting what you are doing and not doing.

Contracts are important. No matter the size of the job. It is better to have it signed and not needing to collect for damages than to let it slide on signing and having a hard time collecting on what they damaged.

Also, point out key things on the contract, so they can't say you never told them.

You've been on your feet all day setting up an event and then a few hours later going back to clean up. Now you're just sitting in the car wondering if you should unpack now or later, but you just sit in the car and end up falling asleep for an hour.

I can't be the only one.

This What Am I Up To Wednesdays was a College Graduation Party.

Client hired me to do a few things for the party and they did the rest. I did 2 balloon features and a Book Wall.

This is a great reminder that excellence is a process. Every job I learn something, whether it's a faster way to do something or just trying something new. I was semi nervous to do the book wall, but it turned out cute.
