What a wonderful Parent Resource Day! 💙
Last Friday, parents had the opportunity to connect with local community partners, learn about valuable resources, and take time for themselves with a relaxing yoga session. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day meaningful, supportive, and empowering for our families.

Yesterday, we celebrated our efforts and accomplishments from this year at our Annual Board Meeting. 🎉

We reflected on our achievements, recognized the impact made possible through our community, and looked ahead to the future. A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated Leadership Board of Directors for their guidance, commitment, and support. Together, we are shining a light on Maryland’s children and families.

Big feelings are a normal part of growing up. 🌿

When emotions start to overwhelm, a few minutes outdoors can make a big difference. Taking a walk, noticing nature, and slowing down together can help children—and adults—reset, regulate, and reconnect.

As Memorial Day passes, many families may still be carrying feelings of loss, remembrance, and grief. ❤️ Children grieve too—even when they don’t always have the words to express it. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can say is: “You are not alone, and it’s okay to feel this way.”

Parenting little ones comes with big emotions—for children and caregivers alike. 💛

When parents feel supported, seen, and cared for, children are better able to grow, learn, and thrive. Remember: you don’t have to do it all perfectly. Sometimes the most important thing a parent can hear is, “You’re doing better than you think.” 🌱
