Project I CAN

Project I CAN re-engages disconnected youth 16 to 24 years of age in Baltimore City in a year-long youth development and work readiness program that includes real-world work experience, enrichment classes, community service, and comprehensive case management. Youth will develop short- and long-term goals, professional and leadership skills, and a sense of self-efficacy that will prepare them for future education and employment, reducing their risk for long-term poverty. Project I CAN accepts youth interns from anywhere in Baltimore City but recruitment and community activities are focused on the neighborhoods surrounding CUPs Coffeehouse in East Baltimore.
