The air quality issues were only part of the story…
During testing, elevated moisture-related fungal activity was identified in this basement and the source conditions told the rest. Standing water, elevated humidity, and visible microbial growth can all contribute to what’s circulating through a home’s air.

⚠️ Found a loose wire inside this circuit breaker panel during today’s inspection. Loose connections like this create intense heat and present a massive fire hazard for the property. *Do not try at home! . Always hire a licensed electrician to inspect and service your electrical system safely. ⚡️
☢️A few issues within this video, but I Here’s another unsealed water heater flue vent today. It looks minor, but this open gap lets toxic, odorless carbon monoxide spill straight into your basement instead of venting safely outside. The loose connection completely ruins the chimney’s suction, causing dangerous back-drafting and creating acidic moisture that eats away your masonry. Duct tape won’t cut it. This requires proper high-temperature fire cement to keep your air clean and your family safe. Always check your utility connections!

5 years ago, Greenlight Inspections LLC was just an idea with a vision and a whole lot of hustle. Today, I’m grateful to say that vision has taken me across homes all throughout Maryland and DC helping families, buyers, sellers, and investors make informed decisions every single day.
