Code in the Schools
We believe that everyone can learn to code and that all students should be given access to computer science education.
We provide a wide range of innovative in-school, after-school, and summer programs to expose youth to key concepts early, help them develop 21st century skills and capabilities, and build pathways from school to jobs and higher education. Learning to code fosters creative expression, teaches critical thinking and problem solving, and at the same time imparts concrete skills that prepare students for some of the most exciting and innovative jobs of the 21st century. Since 2013, we have worked to spread access to computer science education across Baltimore City. We work with a diverse group of 22 community partners to ensure our programs have a real impact with measurable outcomes.
