See how they do me? 😂 I came to support a poetry slam in Baltimore, minding my business, and somehow the host grabs the mic talking about “American Idol finalist George Lovett is in the building!” Sir… that was 10 years ago 😅

Next thing I know, the mic is in my hand and now I gotta sing like Ryan Seacrest backstage waiting on results. But I love my city, so I had to give them a little “Ruby.” ❤️🎤

Y’all were asking for the longer video, so here it is. This was me and Kiandra Richardson singing at our friend’s wedding, and it’s a moment I’ll never forget. Right before this, Kiki told me she had just been cast on the TV show Empire, so emotions were already running high. To witness one of your friends stepping into their dream while celebrating another friend’s love all in the same moment… it was beautiful. Truly one of those memories that stays with you forever. I swear I pulled up just to support my brother Therron and mind my business… but apparently every venue has a ‘hand George the mic immediately’ policy. 😂 The cigar smoke had that room looking like a 70s soul album cover, but I still sang and whistled my way through it. Hope y’all enjoyed the unexpected set.

Spent my birthday at a 70s costume party and somehow they handed me the mic like I wasn’t supposed to be retired tonight. I came to boogie woogie, not book a set. At this point can somebody please sing me Happy Birthday for once??

Singing the national anthem at Sofi Stadium in front of thousands of screaming fans has officially become the biggest audience I’ve ever performed for. The energy was electric… and I’m not just talking about the blue leather suit I’m wearing 🥶

Nothing says wedding season like singing ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ outside in weather hot enough to test the relationship before the vows. Worth every note though — I love what I do. Love my Dart family. Feat.
